Opportunity and position information: $ign-On/Relocation for experienced ASE Certified Technicians. We are looking to add a dependable, honest, and hard-working automotive technician to join our team. ASE Certification or any other manufacturer's certification is required along with a minimum of two years of experience in the automotive mechanical field. This is an advanced position that requires the knowledge to diagnose and repair vehicles. Applicant must have an insurable driving record, be willing to train (online and hands-on), and furnish their own hand tools (we provide special tools). Pay will be based on certifications and experience. $27-$40 FRH

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, petroleum powered and/or diesel engines, transmissions, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an as-required basis.
• Perform road tests to diagnosis vehicles and to verify repairs.
• Use a computer to utilize factory software.
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology and attend GM specific training classes as needed.
• Assist fellow technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities as needed.
• Keep dealership management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
• Maintain an organized and neat bay.
• Adhere to all company policy, procedure, safety and environmental rules.
